impromptu 10-mans last night

I was amazed that we actually had more than 10 MA on last night AMD were able to put together a 10 man for both OS and part of NAXX.

Me and Fobaen healed.
Gambatte and Snake tanked.
Nova, Don, Rettop (new shammy), Whip, Tiny, Cham played DPS.

Some nice loot, a few badges and lots of laughs.

oops.. I almost forgot KC.. Thanks for stepping in when Nova had to go!

we finished up NAXX 10-man on Sunday so congrats to all the Plate Wearers who saw lots of drops.
Good to see some of the new folks get some loot.

After finishing NAXX we went over to Ulduar and had a great start on that.

that was my first time to even walk in the place so it was nice to have some totally new content.
A shoutout to my vehicle-mate Ryven who was wickedly shooting stuff out of the air! Very Happy

HAHA that stuff was fun.... Again last night guys was spur of the moment and we where able to pull it off. Had some good attempts on Onixya +1 Drake we now know what that is like... ITS HARDER haha but good job afterward when we decided to just down him with now drakes..

that OS10 was a lot of fun for sure.

a little more dps wouldn't hurt I suppose if we're gonna try 1 drake with Sarth.

folks need to be prepared with flasks etc for full buff potential.

Not sure how to take those adds down other than AOE damage but they were a pain.

When they start beating on the healers its "game over".

A pally tank on the adds is a good idea, but he is going to take a ton of damage. This is where a holy pally healer comes in good because you can beacon one tank and heal the other. But a pally cannot solo heal both tanks, the beacon is an extra heal, not primary. AOE is the main way to kill them. If you have the similar set up as was listed, the lock should Rain of Fire and the rogue should Fan of Knives with instant poison on one and anestetic on the other (you will need the anestetic poison in case the flame guys enrage). A warrior tank on the adds is a good option too because of shockwave/thunderstomp rotations and intimidating shout on some of the whelps to buy healers a little ( and I mean very little) window to make sure to keep him up. If you get more than two waves of adds, stop because the healers will get overwhelmed.

We had JWs pally tank on them but I think our downfall was a lack of DPS on them as the healers did get overwhelmed.

A frost mage would be a great addition I think.

Abbey's lock was the sole AOE dps although snaggums rogue was there.. not sure if he was fanning.

Hey i wasnt lacking haha i know that abbey myself where over 2.5k and i htink the others where just under 2k if not low 2ks so i think we just need practice and need to read up on everything still

Not trying to dis anybody's DPS.
I was really talking about AOE dps and the idea of a frost mage would give both a slowing affect and some additional AOE which Bane points out is a requirement for those adds.

No no, Don is fail, lol.

The hardest thing about OS + is healers either drawing aggro or getting overwhelmed. It is a good fight for a frost mage or a fire lock. Also, hunter volley is still good in that fight, especially when used in conjuction with an immolation trap or possibly a frost trap. The good news is that you went after it and realized what is needed. The better news is that next time you know what you need to do.

Actually he topped the damage meters at around 2500+ overall as I recall.
We'll need more dps and more AOE to do one drake I think.
Abbey's lock was not far behind him so if we had a frost mage working along side that would be the ticket.

I remember on the second attempt the last thing I remember gam says "dh, you heal Tiny"... The fight starts... I throw one heal on Tiny at half health and those Fire doods on him turned to me and KaBLAM! Fried Shammy anyone?
