A few more weeks.

| There are a few more weeks of normal content before the patch and soon to follow expansion. I would like to see us make a few more attempts at Karazhan as well as some heroic dungeons in the near future. After the new patch, which thankfully was not released today, the game will change quite a bit and it will take a while for us to get used to the builds, abilities, and professions. I would suggest that the time between the patch be spent finalizing whatever toons you are working on and prepare for the expansion. I will create a thread in the forums for folks to post which toons they intend to run to 80 and which direction we are all going to go. Do keep in mind that all of the tanks will need some retooling and the healers will get big damage buffs so the game is going to take some time. Also there are at least three people with beta accounts available for questions if you want to know something about a specific class or build. These are DH, KC, and myself, so ask away. |

CURATOR DOWNED

Big CONGRATULATIONS to MA for downing Curator for the first time. Took 2 attempts tonight but both went very well, down to 15% on the first, downed the 2nd. Grats to Fobaen on the T4 glove drop and Killa for the badass ring drop, Garona's Signet Ring. Killa also looted the Grips of Deftness from the trash mobs on our way to Curator tonight.

This week MA has made great progress in Karazhan in taking on the new content and encounters for many of us. We moved at a steady pace through the content we've encounted before on Thursday and learned new content on Sunday, and nailed that content to the wall on Monday. Again, GREAT JOB to everyone.
Lets keep up the great work and nail Shade to the wall this coming week.

One more stet

| Last night added one more milestone for MA in Karazhan with the completion of the operah event. What made it more fun was that we got what is widely considered the toughest of the two fights because it requires great timing and teamwork, which we had both. It did take a couple of tries to get the timing down right but once we got a good system in place we were able to complet the fight. The move to Curator was going well but that is a tough fight and we ran a late into the night. This is one more big step for us and getting the Curator fight will result in someone getting their t4 gloves. This past couple of weeks have shown us just how well we can do in raid instances. Lets keep up the great work. |

Kara Success

Tonight marked a definate milestone for MA and Karazhan. Not only did we down three bosses in record time (1 hour 40mins), but Maiden was officially PWNED for the first time by MA.
I could not have asked for better teamwork and coordination. Pulls were almost flawless, our shacklers were on the ball. DPS was where they needed to be, and tanking picture perfect. 4 deaths total for 3 bosses by 2 people only because both tanks were disabled at the same time. Just a fact of game mechanics there.

Back to Karazhan pt2

| Round two of this weeks Kara run produced a kill on Moroes and a good strategy on Maiden. Congrats to Will and Fobaen for the loot which will be linked under the new item/gear page later. The best thing that has come out of this weeks run is a better understanding of each fight. We are making progression the way it should be made. This is how guilds that have Kara on farm got to that point. Learning the fights, working together, and building up as a team are what make this possible. We are looking at making another run at Maiden tonight and will then schedule next weeks run on the calendar. Make sure to check the raid add on/macro page for some very usefull information. |
