Last night marked the return of MA to Karazhan after a few weeks off. The run went much better than those who were in there may think. There were alot of good things that came out of it and we did down one boss and had a good strategy worked out on the second when it got late and we decided to call it and go back another day. The whole raid did a good job, especially with a few first timers or first runs on a particular character. Thanks to KC for bringing his rogue and Char for bringing his hunter. Even after a few hairy moments at the begining we were able to put together a very good effort. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that Kara is different than any other instance most of us have been in and it take time and practice to get the fights down to a science. I look forward to the continued success on this particular run and those in the future.

Check the Kara section of the forums and the mods section for some very usefull (and some that may be considered required) mods and macros to be posted in the next day or so.

New section in the forums has been created for general raid information. The first topic is a raid roster sign up for MA raiding in general. If you have not done so already and/or want to play endgame with MA register with the forums and post which character(s) you would like to raid with. Its not specific for any instance, just a starting tool to help MA begin focusing for endgame.

Last night marked the first full clear of Magisters Terrace on regular mode with an all (well mostly all) MA group. The instance is very interesting but there are alot of line of sight issues. A few whipes, one bonehead by me, and we were able to unlock heroic mode for the group that was in last night. The group included:

Baneleaf
Sharmockxx (he got a very nice healing ring from the final boss)
Deposithere
Gambatte
Majjorwood

We look forward to getting another group in there to unlock the heroic mode for more folks so we can start those groups. Thanks to all that ran and now we know we can clear it with little trouble.

Bane

We are having informal discussions on vent about scheduling certain events. Please post your thoughts in the forums about what you think makes sense, and of course, please discuss it in vent with our active players.
Monday may be a good day for our 10 arena rounds required, until we decide whether we want a stronger commitment to arena.
Thursday may be a good starting point for Kara or other 10 man raids, since that is our most populated day; sunday is the 2nd most, so perhaps we could do complete Kara runs between thursday and sunday.
At Gambatte's request, we have begun doing the daily heroics for badges (you get 5 per run). we need to decide how many days a week we want to do Heroic dungeons, as some are longer than others.
Class nights/events: I (eeyore) would like to see us do class events, such as dungeons, BG's or even world pvp with say, all druid, all hunter, all caster, etc groups. This could be fun!
